CloudSEK SDE Backend Intern Job Description and Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and components for our cyber security products in conjunction with the development team.
- Write scalable, streamlined code in languages like Go or NodeJS.
- Closely collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and front-end developers in cross-functional teams to provide high-caliber software solutions.
- Take part in code reviews and offer helpful criticism to guarantee the maintainability and quality of the code.
- Find and fix bugs and performance problems in software.
- Keep abreast of the most recent developments and trends in the fields of cyber security and backend development.
- Help with the documentation of user manuals, technical specifications, and other pertinent documents.
- Participate in the ongoing enhancement of best practices and development procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages, such as Go or NodeJs.
- knowledge of the tools, libraries, and frameworks used in backend programming.
- Fundamental knowledge of web protocols, technologies, and APIs
- Proficiency with SQL, databases, and database design concepts.
- A strong commitment to cyber security and a desire to stay current with market developments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to function well in a collaborative setting.
Added Qualifications:
- Knowledge with cloud computing platforms like GCP, Azure, or Amazon.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and other DevOps tools and processes.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, caching techniques, and NoSQL databases.
