GroundTruth Data Engineer Job Description and Requirements :
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage a range of GroundTruth platform data pipelines.
- Using SQL and AWS “big data” technologies, build the infrastructure needed for the best possible data extraction, transformation, and loading from a wide range of data sources.
- Assist stakeholders with technical data-related challenges and support their needs for data infrastructure by collaborating with the Product, Analytics, and Client Services teams.
- Create low-level design and comprehensive specs.
- Take part in the code reviews.
- Before going live, test the product in realistic, controlled scenarios.
- After the application becomes live, maintain it.
- Provide suggestions for enhancing the location platform.
Required Qualifications :
- Tech./B.E./M.Tech./MCA or equivalent in computer science
- 0-3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Proficiency with AWS Stack, including EC2, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, ECS, Lambda, and Step functions, for data engineering
- Knowledge of Pig, Spark, Hadoop, MapReduce, and Glue – Practical expertise with Python for managing data pipelines and data engineering tasks
- Proficiency in crafting analytical SQL queries
- Prior Airflow Experience
- Proficiency in Git – Docker experience
