Societe Generale ETL Developer Job Description and Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Create SQL, TSQL, and SSIS packages and Work with various tools and do data modeling and data architecture
- Concepts and Application of DWH
- Comprehending the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from every angle in accordance with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles
- Produce reusable, pristine code and design of the highest caliber.
- Actively collaborate with other development teams to establish and put into place data access rules and APIs.
- Generate test and defect reports and validate releases without any bugs.
- Contribute in the creation of scripts, quality configuration, and framework usage automation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in TSQL for composing intricate stored procedures, functions, and views – Proficiency in crafting complex SQL queries
- Must be familiar with moving SQL Server instances from one version to another.
- Need to be well-versed in performance optimization and capable of analyzing current SQL queries to enhance performance
- Should be familiar with fundamental DBA tasks including backing up, restoring, and partitioning;
- SSIS ETL design and execution should be based on business requirements.
- Possess a solid understanding of the various data sources and destinations, SSIS transformation, and optimal solution implementation techniques.
- Working independently is a must.
- Agile and scrum approaches are practiced.
- Experience in the banking industry is a huge benefit.
