Servicenow Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description and Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with end customers to provide reporting and customizations that satisfy their needs and offer guidance on the most effective business intelligence solutions.
- Determine how to streamline data collecting and report development through process changes.
- Analyze and combine data from multiple sources, interacting with different business divisions and the operations department to provide periodic reports.
- Work on BI projects from start to finish in order to create a portfolio of reports, dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs.
- Create advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Encourage and improve self-serve reporting’s flexibility across organizations
Required Qualifications:
- Possess a track record of success in development procedures, visual analytics best practices, and familiarity with common BI & analytics tools and technologies (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- At least 6 expertise with business intelligence (using Power BI report server, Power BI desktop, Power BI desktop Pro, DAX formulas, Power BI Service, and Power Automate),
- Proficiency in IT development tools such as Microsoft Excel PowerPivot and the MS BI Stack (MS SQL Server, Dataverse, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
- Expertise in dashboard optimization with an emphasis on performance, standardization, adaptability, and usability.
- Some familiarity with tools like Alteryx, RPA, Python, etc. is preferred.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment;-Well-versed in the most recent trends in analytics, business intelligence, and data visualisation
- Excellent data modeling skills (RDBMS principles, Normalisation, dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schema etc.)
